We were not allowed to borrow money from our friend, when I was in primary school.

Yet, there was a friend of mine came to me, asked me to lend him 20 cent to buy fish ball. I said "Okay, I had enough for myself, here it goes."

The day after that, he came to me again, asked me to buy kacang puteh. He came to me almost everyday, mayb he gave himself one or two days break.

Some time, he did returned the money to me, just the amount of one day before. Most of the time he did not, perhaps I'm too soft.

Days went on, until my class teacher found out that I lend money to my classmate. Gosh, how on earth could she know?

To cut the story short, mother of my friend came to class, she talked to the teacher a while. Then, teacher ask me to come forward. The mother ask me, "How much did my son owe you, in total?"

All I was heard, "How much did he owe you yesterday?" Mayb I was too nervous on that time, and didn't expect his mother would come to pay me back. I said, "50 cent!"
